Set in the charming village of San Luca, near Montecorvino Rovella, the Provenzas are rolling out an oleotourism gig that opens its doors by appointment starting July 4th. Visitors can soak in the peaceful countryside vibes with a cocktail or picnic among the olive trees, just a short drive from Battipaglia and Salerno.
A Legacy of Top-Notch Olive Oil
For over 60 years, the Provenza family has been a big name in crafting top-quality extra virgin olive oil in the DOP Colline Salernitane region. Always pushing the envelope, in 2012 they launched the "Bar dell’Olio" at the Torretta Oil Mill, where guests could enjoy olive oil-infused cocktails.
Revamping San Luca
In 2017, the Provenzas took over the San Luca village, turning it into Tenuta degli Ulivi. This move grew their land to 50 hectares and kicked off a makeover to create a cultural and tourist hotspot around olive oil. This delightful estate is now a go-to spot for a genuine oleotourism adventure, offering stays in a cozy farmhouse surrounded by olive groves.
A One-of-a-Kind Oleotourism Experience
At Tenuta degli Ulivi, you can dive into wellness activities in nature, join events and festivals, and relish picnics in the great outdoors. The estate also boasts the newly moved Bar dell’Olio, the foodie heart of the place, serving up local delights.
