Amazing Appetizer and Aperitifs, Chef Angelo Carannante, Caracol, (Na)


You never get a first chance to make a first impression. Never.  That is why a benvenuto, aperitif, and appetizer, in my humble opinion, is so important.  And when you have to compete with a spectacular location like Chef Angelo Carannante of Caracol does - this splendido panoramica becomes an inspiration.  Let's begin right away with the spumante chosen for my degustazione.
Respect for the territory - a falanghina spumante from nearby Piscina Mirabilis.



Then...

squid and potatoes cappuccino...



 rice wafers flavored with saffron, seaweed, and squid ink...



cod and chickpeas croquette...



cottage cheese honey and coffee airbags...



peanut cookies with Campari bitters gel...



 stuffed peppers...




Then an old friend...
