A couple of weeks ago, I wrote about a photo contest, the
love child of an amazing afternoon spent in Ischia with Pizzaiolo Ivano Veccia
and Chef Crescenzo Scotti. (Here, and

The rules were easy.
Snap a photo of your favorite Panificio Boccia sandwich that included
the fantastic medieval Castello Aragonese in the background. Post the pic on Instagram© or Facebook© using
the hashtag #bocciaecastello.
During the week, we decided our winner - 9 year old Luciano,
aka Lucianino, Bondavalli. Luciano wins
a mega mortadella sandwich for four people, four Peroni beers, which I’m sure
he’ll hand over to his mom and dad, and four tickets to visit Castello
Aragonese.
