An American in Sorrento, Michele Savarese, Bar Capri, Hotel Capo La Gala, Vico Equense (Na)


As I prepare for another hot 4th of July weekend, my mind goes back to a cool cocktail that I tried a couple of weeks a go.  A cool cocktail prepared for me by Barman Michele Savarese of Bar Capri located on the rocks at Hotel Capo La Gala in Vico Equense.  I missed the sunset, but no problem.  Savarese welcomed me into the newly renovated bar complete with a refrigerated aperitif table.





I sat down, had a few snacks, and waited for  Savarese's latest creation for 2016.

Grande! Can you tell me  some of the ingredients?

Bitter Campari , Martini Rubino Riserva Speciale, Orange bitter ,velluto di limoncello , e alla fine grattuggiare limone di Sorrento e fava tonka...



Campari Bitter, Ruby Martini Special Reserve, orange bitters, velvety limoncello , and at the end- grated Sorrento lemon peel  and tonka beans...





One last thing...no, two, in my opinion.
A spectacular location and a fantastic smile...
